Muttam is a bustling township with a lot of old houses and mosques built in traditional architecture.Madayi Para ,Sulthan Canal and Ezhimala are known for scenic beauty. The Ezhimala Mountain and beach lie at the northern boundary of Kannur.There is a famous temple of Hanuman, the Mount Deli Light House. It is maintained by the Indian Navy and is a restricted area.
